Lily Moore | Live at Leeds Top 12
Lily Moore turned heads of all in the venue within seconds of revealing her muscular radiant voice. Sipping a cup of tea between each song and smiling throughout, Lily’s performance saw a showcase of songs her from EP ‘Not That Special,’ released just days before. Her lyrics are written with a conversational tone, easy to see how each one is a response to personal experiences of the singer herself, giving us the privilege share her reality with her.
Alternating between accompanying herself on her acoustic guitar, or just focusing on her voice whilst accompanist Beau Holland plays the keys behind her, overall her vocals and lyrics are still the heart of each song.
Particular stand out moments were her performance of ‘Lying To Yourself,’ which appeared the most personal, also showing her fiercer side with lyrics “You keep lying, lying to yourself, But don't lie to me.”
An artist who is brand new for 2018, and already fresh off the stage from a support tour with George Ezra, Lily is well on her way to become one of the UK’s most iconic artists with a genuine musical heart that drives her.
Catch her next at The Lexington, June 20th for her largest headline show to date!
